Mike is an Associate with the Edinburgh-Stanford Link. Since mid-02 he has taught entrepreneurship online through Cornell (owned by Cornell University) and in person at Lynn University in Boca Raton, as well as at Cisco's Entrepreneurship Center in San Jose. Career highlights include working for venture capital firm Dot.Edu Ventures, whose founders spun-out Google from Stanford University, and being CEO of a company which created six companies, including two successful IPOs and one trade sale to Microsoft. Mike holds an MBA and BSc from Cornell University.

John is the Academic Co-ordinator of the Edinburgh-Stanford Link. His background features extensive research into learning technology, and digital design and communication. John is Deputy Director of the Human Communication Research Centre and is also a senior lecturer in the School of Arts, Culture and Environment, where he is Programme Director of the highly successful MSc in Design and Digital Media. Dr Lee holds MA and PhD degrees from the University of Edinburgh.

Nick is the Commercial Director of the Edinburgh-Stanford Link, and is founder of the entrepreneurship course. He has a background in technology research and consultancy/incubation, and has also served as editor of a Sunday Times business technology supplement. Nick holds non-executive advisory positions with Mayfair-based GP Capital, a private placement specialist for hi-tech companies, and UnLtd Ventures, a £100m social entrepreneurship fund financed by the National Lottery. Nick holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and an Advanced Diploma in Computing from the University of Oxford.

Adam is currently teaching the Summer Entrepreneurship School at London Business School, where he is Entrepreneur in Residence. After several consulting roles around the world, Adam founded HomePro.com in 1999, raised £7m in venture capital and expanded the company into mainland Europe; he successfully exited in 2003. Adam holds an MBA from London Business School and an MA from the University of Oxford.

Donna is training Manager for the Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE). She has developed a number of successful entrepreneurship training programmes for postgraduates in the College of Science and Engineering. SIE have created 22 companies at the University of Edinburgh since 2001 and almost 1000 students have accessed the postgraduate programme. Dr Murray holds a BSc from Strathclyde and a PhD from Nottingham.
